Police would like to thank members of the public for information that led to an arrest on Tay Street, Invercargill yesterday.
The man, who was wanted on firearms related offences, was arrested at 6pm in a motel unit.
After a search of the unit the 33-year-old will now face further charges including possession of methamphetamine for supply and driving offences.
Methamphetamine and $7000 in cash was seized.
Detective Sergeant John Kean thanked members of the public for their assistance.

The man is due to appear at the Invercargill District Court today.
