A lucky Powerball player from Central Otago will be living the dream after winning $22.3 million with Powerball First Division in tonight’s live Lotto draw.
The winning ticket was sold on MyLotto to a player from Central Otago. The total prize is made up of $22 million from Powerball First Division and $333,333 from Lotto First Division.
This is the largest Powerball prize ever won in the South Island and the largest prize won so far this year.
Tonight’s $22.3 million prize is also the largest Powerball prize ever won on MyLotto.
Two other Lotto players from Papamoa and Ashburton will also be celebrating after each winning $333,333 with Lotto First Division in tonight’s live Lotto draw. The winning Lotto tickets were sold at Papamoa Superette in Papamoa and on MyLotto to a player from Ashburton.
Meanwhile, Strike Four rolled over tonight and will be $500,000 on Saturday.
Anyone who bought their ticket from any of the above winning stores should write their name on the back of the ticket and check it immediately at any Lotto outlet, online at mylotto.co.nz or through the Lotto NZ App.
