BROWN, Irene Phyllis (Phyllis):
In her 96th year, Phyllis passed peacefully on 30 June. Devoted wife of the late Eric. A special thanks to the staff at Vickery Court and Bupa for caring for our Mum. Loved mother and mother-in-law of Marjorie and Ian Bowen, Allan and Marilyn, Valerie and Geoff Horrell, Lynda and Lindsay McNamara, Judy and Tony Fleck and Glynis and Bruce Thomson. Loved Grandma to all her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Peacefully at rest awaiting the resurrection. A service to celebrate Phyllis’ life will be held in the Avenal Park Chapel, 75 Fox Street on Wednesday, 3rd July at 1.30 pm. The service will conclude with the interment at the Eastern Cemetery. FOSTER, William Russell (Bill):
Peacefully at Vickery Court after a short illness on Friday 28th June 2024 aged 95 years. Dearly loved husband and friend of Isla. Much loved father, father-in-law and friend of Jeanette and Murray, Lindsay and Glenys, Russell and Pauline, Joanne and Jimmy. A dearly loved grandfather and great-grandfather of 10 grandsons and one granddaughter and 19 great-grandchildren. A loved brother, brother-in-law and uncle to his extended family and a loved friend to many. A farewell service for Bill will be held at The Hideaway 201, 201 Lochiel Branxholme Road at 12.30pm on Wednesday 3rd July followed by an interment at the Wallacetown Cemetery. MORRIS, Lyla Margaret (nee Kitto):
Peacefully on June 27, 2024, with her loving family at her side, in the special care of staff at Resthaven, Gore. Dearly loved wife of the late Albie, much loved mother and mother-in-law of Lynley and Keith Olsson (Australia), Jim (Gore), Sonia and Raymond Petterson (Australia), Ross and Ang (Kumara), Nan to Travis and Ebony, Teliah and Matty, great Nana of Mason, and Maylah (Australia).

94 years young, passed away peacefully and with dignity with family by his side, in the care of Clare house where he spent the last 10 months happy and with friends. Loving husband of Moira* his ‘darling’, respected and deeply loved dad to Jacqueline (Jacqui) Caroline, and Graeme. Father-in-law to Gerry, Robert, and Claire. Adored Pop of Adrian and Sasha, Sara*, Rachel Loo and Harris, Theodore, Alexander, and Benjamin Young. Loved great pop of Sylvie Loo. A gentleman to the end.
