BLACKMUN, James Alan (Alan):
Died peacefully at Southland Hospital on Monday 24th June 2024; aged 83 years. Dearly loved father of Sandra Macnamara (Te Anau), Tara Blackmun (Invercargill) , and Jaymie Blackmun (Sweden) and much loved grandfather of Reagan, Harry, Blake; Luke, Caleb, Joshua; Zavia, Zack and great grandfather of Alexia, and Bjorn. Loved brother and brother- in- law of Jeanette and Alan Jordan, Clive and Ann, Peter and Tracey, Bernard and Vanna. A grave side service to celebrate Alan’s life will be held at the East Winton Cemetery on Thursday 27th June 2024 at 11am, everyone welcome. Alan will be resting at the Winton Funeral Home on Wednesday, for anyone who wishes to pay their respects prior to 4pm. A very special thank you to all the people who cared for Alan over the final years of his illness, Rata Park Care Home and to the staff at the medical ward at Southland Hospital. Peacefully in the care of Rose Lodge staff on Saturday 22nd June 2024. In his 83rd year. Beloved husband of the late Hazel. HARRINGTON, Marie Isobel:
Peacefully on Monday 24 June 2024 in the care of BUPA Ascot, Invercargill, aged 89 years. Dearly loved wife of the late Roger, loved mother and mother-in-law of Grant, Keith and Ros, and grandma to Emily and Zac. Sister to the late Bruce Allen and Ron Allen. A funeral to celebrate Marie’s life will be held in the St Andrews Presbyterian Church, Elles Road, Invercargill on Thursday 27 June at 1.30pm. MACKAY, Joanne Teresa Mary, (nee Devon):
A former Stewart Islander. Our mother passed peacefully on Wednesday 12th June 2024 at Calvary hospital in her 87th Year.Beloved Darling Heart of the late Eric “Bones” Mackay. Deeply loved and treasured Mother and mother-in-law of Margaret and Ian (Christchurch), Bruce and Maria (Queenstown),Theresa and Rob (London), Anthony and Raymond (Seattle). Loved special Grandie to Alisha and Cameron (Dubai), Matthew (Brisbane), Rachel and Shaun (Christchurch), Nico and Oscar (London).
