18 May 1941 - 18 May 2025. It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Henry at his home, in Riverton, on Sunday 18th May 2025, on his 84th birthday. Dearly loved husband of Shirley for 62 years. Much loved father and father-in-law of David and Tania, Suzie and Paul Harrington, Bruce and Jasmine. Much loved by all his grandchildren, Nicholas, Benjamin, Brydon, Maggie and William, Bailley, Sofia, and Henry. Dearly loved son of Thomas James (Johnson)* and Margaret Babington Cleaver*. Much loved brother and brother in law of Jimmy* and Noeline, Rowena* and Kenny Tomlin, David*, Ian*, Lois and Kevin Mulqueen, Norman*, Donnah and Betty*. Passed away peacefully on 18th May 2025. Dearly loved husband of the late Jeannine. Awesome father and father-in-law of Barry and Oksana, Henry, Theo and Karen, Louise and Stephen, Tim and Aloni, David and Cheryl. Also beloved Opa of his 15 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. A service to celebrate Jack’s life will be held in J Fraser and Sons Chapel, cnr Esk and Don Streets, Invercargill on Friday 23 May at 2pm followed by private cremation. HAMILTON, Lesley “Fay” (nee Johnson):
Sadly, but peacefully passed away on Friday 16 May 2025, at Bupa Ascot Care Home, Invercargill, aged 89 years. Dearly loved wife of the late Lyall. Much loved and treasured mother and mother-in-law of Neville and Sharon, Kerry and Ian Smith, Ian and Denille, John and Fiona (Christchurch). Adored and cherished Nana of Damien and Tegan, Nathan, Hayley and Birney, Jessica and Luke, Bridgette, Waiwhakaata, Mikayla and Luke. Great grandmother to Sophia, Kobe, Benji, and Ziggy. The family wishes to acknowledge the exceptional love and care given to Fay during her 6 months at Bupa Ascot Care. We deeply appreciate it. In his 96th year. Peacefully, surrounded by his loving whānau at Rose Lodge on 18th May 2025. Beloved son of the late Harry and Ethel Payne, loved brother of the late Peggy, Audrey and Keith, Luton, England. Dearly beloved husband of the late Maureen (nee Spencer). Cherished Dad of Jan, Trish, Duncan, Mem and Bec. A loved and respected father-in-law of Tuna, Kevin, Lenny and James. Loved and respected brother-in-law and uncle. Much loved special uncle of Lee. The best and loving Poua, Pou Pou, Poua Poua and GG Pou of his 19 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
