(Of Kelso) – Peacefully, at Ribbonwood Country Home, Tapanui, on Monday, January 22, 2024, aged 76 years. Loved husband and best mate of Judith Lorraine, loved Dad and mentor of Hamish, and cherished Grandad of Seth. Loved youngest brother and brother-in-law of Mervyn*, Linda* and Max* Horrell, Hilary and Michael* Williamson (Invercargill), Alwyn and John McCurdy (Waikaia), Murray* and Jean Dodds (Tapanui), Denise Smith (Wendon), Shirley and Peter Jenkins (Kaiopoi), and loved Uncle of all his nieces and nephews. Loved cousin of all the Gardyne and Lawlor families. A service to celebrate a life well lived will be held at the Gore RSA Clubrooms, Bowler Avenue, on Tuesday, January 30, at 1.30pm, followed by a cuppa then interment at Charlton Park cemetery. Adored by his family, Sandra (Kingsbury-Smith), Georgia, James, Jan, Tom, India, and Hugo. A loved son, brother, cousin, and uncle. A much-admired friend, builder, tennis player, and rugby fanatic. A service to celebrate Kerry’s life will be held on Friday, January 26, 2024, 12.00pm, at the Lake Hayes Pavilion, 719 Lake Hayes-Arrow Junction Highway.
