FRASER, Dorothy Georgina (nee Jenkins):
Passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, while in the care of the staff at Longwood Lifestyle Care Home on Wednesday 23rd April 2025, in her 93rd year. Dearly loved wife of the late Lyall Fraser. Much loved mother and mother in law of Doug and Jan, Bruce and Rae, Murray and Leah and Graeme and Bronwyn. Dearly loved Nana of her 11 grandchildren and her 21 great grandchildren. Loved sister and sister in law of Alex and Elrine*, Norman* and May*, Murray* and Joy, Colin and Lynn, Allan and Judi, Les* and Shirley* Fraser, and Gordon* and Noelene* Fraser. Loved Aunty of all her nieces and nephews. A farewell for Dorothy will be held on Monday 28th April 2025, 1.30pm at Riverton Union Church, 126 Palmerston Street, Riverton. Interment at Riverton Cemetery will follow. KNOWLER, Alison Anne (Née Gorton):
After a brave and long battle with cancer, we are sad to apprise you all that Alison has now passed peacefully, outside with her loving family by her side, in the care of Hospice Southland on Monday, 21st April 2025, aged 64 years. Loved mother of Danielle, cherished aunty of Stephanie. Loved daughter of the late Joan and John, loved sister of Christine*, John, and Wendy*. A loved and cherished friend of all her friends. A service to celebrate Alison’s life will be held in the Avenal Park Chapel, 75 Fox Street, on Thursday, 24th April at 2:00pm.
