It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Jim, who passed away peacefully, at Windsor Park Care Home, Gore, on April 30, 2025, aged 88 years. Loved husband of the late Margaret. Beloved father and father-in-law to Jeni and Grant, Dougal and Rachel, much loved “Jim” of Tazmah, Kabyn, and Keelia. Loved brother of the late Beverly McLeod, and the late Jean Letham. A respected Uncle to his nephews, Peter, and Ross McLeod. A private service and cremation will be held. A special thanks to the staff at Windsor Park for their wonderful care of Jim. SWAIN, Walter Bruce:
Peacefully in the care of Southland Hospital on Thursday, 1st May 2025, aged 83 years. Dearly loved husband of Elsie for 62 years. Cherished father and father-in-law of Bruce and Catherine and Karen and Raimon. Loved grandad and great grandad of all his grandchildren. A loved brother, brother-in-law and friend. WATKINS, Sheila (nee BOLDEN):
Sadly Sheila's family announce her passing on Monday 28th April at Southland Hospital after a courageous battle.  Loved wife of the late Bernard, cherished companion of Robert and much loved Mother and Mother in law of Bernard and Ges, Tania and Peter, Lynette and the late Steven, Natasha and Jason. Much adored Nana and Great Gran of her Grandchildren and babies.  In accordance with her wishes a private family service has been held.  The family would like to acknowledge and thank the agencies involved in Sheila's care over the past weeks.  Messages can be sent c/o: 16 Burns Street, Mataura 9712.

(formerly of Australia) On Thursday 1 May in the care of Waikiwi Gardens Rest Home. Son of the late Duncan and Jean, friend of the staff and residents of Waikiwi Gardens Rest Home. James will be laid to rest with a Graveside Committal service at the Waikawa Cemetery, 439 Niagara Waikawa Road, Waikawa, on Monday 5 May at 2.00pm.
