Norm passed peacefully surrounded by love at his beloved home in Colac Bay. Dearly loved husband of the late Elizabeth 'Betty' and Donnah. Loved and admired father of Nathan and Britt, Jacqui and Brendon, Chris and Gemma. Deeply respected step father of Luke Tippett, and Josh and Rosie Tippett. A very proud Grandad of Keenan and Alana Kobain, Tamati and Sienna. A very precious Great-Grandad of Armani Cleaver. A celebration of Norm's life will be held at the Colac Bay Hall on Tuesday, December 3, 2024, at 11.00am. A private family cremation to follow. Donations would be appreciated to Hospice Southland whose care of Norm was outstanding. COWAN, Edna:
We are sad to announce the death of our much loved Edna, aged 89 years, on November 27, 2024 at Archers Rest Home, Christchurch. Beloved wife of the late Les. Much loved mother and mother-in-law of Gaylene and John, Diane, Bruce and Brenda. Loved sister and sister-in-law of John and Tina. Loving Nana of Aimee, Bec, Pagan, Rachael and Wyatt; and great-nana of Charli, Georgia, Rylee, Henry and Albie. We want to give a special thank you to the wonderful staff at Archers Rest Home who have cared for Edna over the past two years. HILLIS, Michael James:
After an unexpected medical event at home on Tuesday 26 November 2024 aged 60 years. Dearly loved husband of Colleen. Adored father and father-in-law of Kieran and Tiffany, Sean, and Connor. Cherished Grandad of Sofia. Loved brother and brother-in-law of Nicola and Ross, Rachel and Mark; Annette and Warwick. Loved uncle and great-uncle of Carlee and Wade, Indi, Harper, Arden, Jorden, Riley, Jye, Quinn; Olivia, Jack, Max, Stella, and Angus. Loved son of the late Chook and Garth. A loyal and respected friend of many. LEGGETT, Margaret Elizabeth (nee Cook):
of Edendale. Passed peacefully with her family by her side on Wednesday 20th November 2024 in her 93rd year. Dearly loved wife of the late Max. Dearly loved mother and mother-in-law of Bruce, Robert and Susan, Elizabeth and George Scott (all of Edendale), Rowena and Russell Reynolds (Alexandra). Loving grandmother of her 13 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. As per Margaret's wishes a private service to celebrate her life has been held. Grateful thanks are extended to the staff at Parata for their care and compassion of Margaret. We would also like to thank St John, Gore and Southland hospital for their care of Margaret. Passed peacefully on Tuesday, November 26, 2024, in Queenstown. Loved wife of the late Raymond, loved mother of the late Raylene Davis, loved sister and sister-in-law of Pauline and late Theo Hoogland (Green Island), late John and Beverley Hanrahan (Mosgiel), late Norman and Beth Moore (Nelson), Laura and Walton Goldsmith (Invercargill), Bruce and the late Mary Moore (Riverton), and loved by all her nieces and nephews and extended family. Thank you to all the wonderful staff at Queenstown Country Club Care Centre. According to her wishes, Joan was direct cremated (Alexandra) with her ashes to be interred at Alexandra Cemetery.
