Peacefully after a short illness, with family by her side at Southland Hospital. Dearly loved wife of the late Gavin. Loved mother and mother-in-law of Neville and Linda (England), Murray (Australia), and Carolyn and Sid. Cherished Grandmother of Belinda and Richard, Nettie and Donald, Maria, and Nicola. Great grandma of Hunter, Devon, and Paris.

A service to celebrate June’s life will be held in the Avenal Park Chapel, 75 Fox Street, Invercargill, on Wednesday, 2 nd July at 1.30pm, the service will conclude with the interment at the Eastern Cemetery. Messages are to 455D O’Shannesy Rd, RD1, Lochiel, Winton 9701.

ELLIOTTE, Margery Helen:
Passed away peacefully at Hospice Southland, surrounded by her loving family, on Friday 27th June 2025, aged 75. Loved wife of Ross for 55 years. Adored mother and mother in law of Debra and Angus Cowie (Lumsden), and Megan and Simon Tierney (Alexandra). Treasured Nana of Lily, Henry, Isabella, Thomas, Ruby and Nicholas. In lieu of flowers donations to Hospice Southland would be greatly appreciated and can be left at her service. Family sincerely thank the staff of Hospice Southland for their compassion and care of Margery. A farewell for Margery will be held on Wednesday 2nd July 2025, 1.30pm in J Fraser and Sons Chapel, corner Esk and Doon Streets, Invercargill. Private cremation will follow. Peacefully at Gore hospital, surrounded by family. A dearly loved husband of Alice for 62 years. Much loved and devoted father and father-in-law of Donald and Janine, Carolyn and Geoff, Maria and Andy. Loved grandfather of George, May, Tom, Neve; Sarah, Serena, and Daniel; Jayden, Karlena, and Rhianna and Great Grandad of Jake, Mia, and Sadie. Loved son of the late George & Mavis Terry. Loved brother and brother-in-law of Ellen* and Lionel*, Dorothy , Barbara & Ray, Lois* and Don*, Geordie* and Rosie, Yvonne and Robin , Graham and
