Peacefully at Hospice Southland with his loving family by his side on Monday, 3 rd March 2025, aged 79 years. Dearly loved husband of Mohini and loved father and father-in-law of Kirsten and Quinten, Helen, Darren and Matthew. Adored Grandad of Rayessa (Moog). Loved son of the late George and Ivy Olds. Cherished cousin of Ivy, and Stan. A service to celebrate George’s life will be held in the Avenal Park Chapel, 75 Fox Street, on Saturday, 8th March at 10:00 am. WAGHORN, Ellen Mary (nee Barry):
Passed away peacefully in her sleep on Tuesday 4th March 2025, aged 78 years. Loved and beautifully cared for by her husband, Allan. Mum to Graeme and Nikki, mother-in-law to Dave. Nan to Gemma and Tom and a kind, respected friend to many. Special thanks to the doctors and nurses at Southland Hospital, and most recently for the care extended to Ellen by the team at Vickery Court. A private service will be held for Ellen.
