‘Through the Lens’ Southland Photographic Society Exhibition

Art Attic Gallery opened its new exhibition on Friday, ‘Through the Lens’, a collaboration with the Southland Photographic Society. The showcase exhibition drew photography enthusiasts from all around Southland who braved the stormy weather for opening night.

The display hosting almost 120 artworks by 25 photographers offers a diverse range of subjects including landscape, wildlife, and portraiture photography, and mediums from photo paper and canvas through to metal and calico.

‘Through the Lens’ is open to the public until October 22. Additionally, as part of the Southland Arts Trail members of the Southland Photographic Society will be at the gallery across the weekends of October. Come ‘Meet the Artists’ on Sat 7, Sun 8, Sat 14, Sun 15, Sat 21 Sun 22 October, from 11am – 3pm. The gallery also opens Wednesday to Friday 11am – 4pm.
