Another exciting evening of Southern Pro Wrestling will be hitting the stage in Invercargill tomorrow night.
Organiser Troy Crosbie said ‘Wrestling on the Edge of the World’ returns South, along with ‘Battle Lines’ and the homecoming of one of SPW’s own.
‘Cool Guy Sky’ will be taking on ‘The Big Man’ – Jamie Tagataese from Auckland in the main event , and another home-grown wrestling star K-9 (Kane Khan) will also take to the ring for the first time in over a year.
Troy said this would be K-9’s homecoming after returning home from the United Kingdom, and he was taking on the ‘Savage Beast’.
“They will basically beat the snot out of each other,” he said.
Invercargill will be a hive of activity this weekend with the Bluff Oyster and Food Festival on Saturday, and the wrestling on Friday night.
“We are a hybrid of live theatre and breath-taking stunts with entertaining characters and storylines. A night for the whole family to enjoy,” he said.
There will also be tag team action and for those who can’t make it, the SPW will be filmed for television on demand.
“This show looks to be packed. It should be a sell-out,” Troy said.
An event for the whole family, he said over half the crowd are loyal fans and keep coming back – including the kids who love watching their action superheroes live.
Come along to the Invercargill Working Mens’ Club and show your support tomorrow night.
