Get down to Donovan Park on Friday, March 5 for the Southland Charity Hospital Night Market, a new event, expanding the already fantastic Southland A & P Show.
The Southland A & P Association has this year launched the Southland Charity Hospital Night Market which will be held on Friday, March 5.
“This year’s Southland A & P Show theme is “Our People, Our Province,” and the launch of the Southland Charity Hospital Night Market will help celebrate this, and also raise funds for an incredible project,” Southland A & P Show entertainment co-ordinator Vic Sinclair says.
“As an organisation, given last year’s events with Covid-19, we wanted to celebrate our region and the amazing community we live in so decided on the theme of “Our People, Our Province.”
“We recognise the Southland Charity Hospital will be of huge benefit to the Southland community.”
“As the Southland A & P Show is all about “Our People and Our Province,” we have joined forces with our crafters and food vendors to bring this new Night Market to Invercargill, in support of the Southland Charity Hospital.”
“Starting at 5pm, the market will feature food stalls, crafters, music from members of Midnight Cruise who perform as Night Cru and some entertainment for the kids.”
“There will also be raffles circulating, which will continue to run the following day at the Southland A & P Show, with some amazing prizes on offer.”
Entry to the night market is a gold coin donation which will run from 5pm to 8:30pm on Friday, March 5 at Donovan Park.
All proceeds from the evening will go to the Southland Charity Hospital.
