GOUGH, Doris Isabel:
On Friday, June 4, 2021, at Rowena Jackson. Aged 89 years. Dearly loved wife of the late Wilson (Bill) Gough. Much loved mother and mother-in-law of Alister and Judy, Keith and Susi, Heather and Neville McRae. Loved Nana and Grandmother of Jamie and Emma, Timothy and Wendy, Christopher and Chantelle , Vanessa and Michi, Rory and Gayathiri, Chaz and Blake and, great grandchildren Aaliyah and Truman, Kano, Odin, Beau, Velda. A service for Doris will be held in J Fraser and Sons Chapel, cnr Esk and Doon Streets, at 11am on Thursday, June 10, followed by committal at the Southland Crematorium. HARPER, Kathryn Elizabeth (formerly McHugh):
On Monday 7 June, peacefully in her sleep after a short illness with her treasured grandson Presley by her side. Dearly loved and ‘colourful’ mum of Kate and Ben McHugh and mother-in-law to Peter. Adored Nan to Presley, the love of her life. Nan to Sooty and Finn. Daughter of Mary (96) and the late Allan Nicholson. Treasured and ‘spirited’ sister of Dianne and Marilyn. Crazy and loved Aunty to Sarah, Laura, Emma, Lydia, and Brad. Loved niece and cousin. Funny and loyal friend to so many. Slipped away just shy of the pension.
Kathryn’s celebration of life service will start at 12 noon, Friday 11 June at Sacred Heart, Waikiwi, followed by a private interment. In lieu of flowers, donations to Hospice Southland would be gratefully received.
“How lucky are we to have something that makes saying goodbye so hard”.

KUIJPERS, Anje (Anne) (Formerly Pol):
Peacefully at Clare House, on June 8, 2021. Aged 97 years. Loved wife of the late Jon Pol and Peter Kuijpers. Dearly loved mum of Evert and Mireille; Bernie and Barbara; Carole and Dave McMeekan. Loved Nana of Carin, Alexis, Jonathan, Louise, Nigel, Nicola, Peter and Christopher. A great- Nana to 10 great-grandchildren. McCULLOCH, Joan Ruby:
Peacefully after a short illness surrounded by the love of her family on June 7, 2021. Dearly loved wife of the late Bert. Loved mother and mother-in-law of Barry and Lyn; Wayne and Alison; the late Warren; Karen and John MacDonald (Te Anau); Ross and Maryann. Much loved Grandmother of Bjorn, Anneka, Bryce, Dylan, Jared, Bailey, Grayson, Kate, and Louisa. Much loved Great-Grandmother of her 9 great-grandchildren. A special thank you to the wonderful staff of Cargill Lifecare for the care of Joan. A Celebration of Joan’s life will be held on Friday, June 11, 2021, commencing at 10.30am at J Fraser and Son’s Chapel, Corner Esk and Doon Street, Invercargill. A private interment will follow. TODD, Robert James:
19.5.1948 – 7.6.2021
Passed away peacefully at home, with his wife, Lois. A private ceremony has been held. No flowers by request. Messages to 106 Hokonui Drive, Gore.

On behalf of Joan, Tina and wee Lady, we would like to thank everyone for their cards, flowers, thoughts, prayers, and love, when Mark passed. A special thanks to my (Joan’s) minders, Di, Pip, Eric, Brylea and Holley and brother Mark. To Wilma and Roger, thank you for your daily visits to Mark, and to all who attended his farewell and made it so special. Thank you to the staff at Windsor Park Rest Home.
