Suddenly on Monday, 5th April 2021, aged 82 years. Dearly loved wife of the late Jack. Cherished mother of Barbara (Scotts Gap), and Christine and Dave (Temuka). Adored Nanny of Jack, and Emma. Loved sister & sister-in-law of Amy* & George* McAuley, Mary* & Mervyn Harris, Andrew* & Elma* Carron, Albert, Raymond, & Lew and sister-in-law of Jim*, Oscar, Margaret & John Shaw, and Ian*. A loved aunt of all her nieces and nephews. A service to celebrate Stella’s life will be held in the Avenal Park Chapel, 75 Fox Street, Invercargill on Friday, 9th April at 1:00pm. DONALDSON, Brian John:
Peacefully in the care of Lake Wakatipu Care Home on Saturday, 3 April 2021, aged 73 years. Dearly loved father of Rachel, Melissa, and Liam and father-in- law of Tom, Marcus, and Jessica. Loved Grandad of Teddy and Jet; Haru, Zabian and Meyka; and Iris and Sadie. Beloved son of Maurice* and Audrey* and brother and brother-in-law of Graeme and Jenny* and loved Uncle of Megan, Gareth & Georgina and Great Uncle of Emily, and Harriet. Respected friend and former husband of Dorothy. A service to celebrate Brian’s life will be held in the Avenal Park Chapel, 75 Fox Street on Thursday, 15th April at 10:30am. (Renie). Late of Isla Bank and Invercargill. Peacefully at Cargill Court Lifestyle on Friday 2nd April 2021. Aged 93 years. Beloved wife of the late Norval. Dearly loved mother, mother-in-law, and friend of Lindsay (Queenstown), Ewen and Karen (Mosgiel) Hamish and Karen (Ashburton), Innes and Raylene (Invercargill). A much loved gran and friend of Kyle and Olivia (Waitahuna), Ethan and Chloe (Christchurch), Leigh and Tony (Pleasant Point), Matthew (Ashburton), Laura and Richard (Christchurch) and James (Dunedin). A proud great grandma of Elsie (Waitahuna) and Riley (Christchurch). Donations for the Blind Foundation Invercargill would be gratefully accepted and can be left at the service. A service to celebrate Renie’s life will be held at the Windsor Community Church, 19 Windsor Street, Invercargill on Friday 9th April at 12.30pm followed by an interment at the Isla Bank Cemetery. Peacefully in the care of Bupa Ascot, formally of Bayswater and Arrowtown. Beloved wife of the late Eeon. Much loved mother, mother in law and Grandmother of Allan and Carol Ryan (Geoffrey, Amy, Zach, Daniella), Susan and Dale Hildebrandt (Ryan, Erin and Trent), Sallye-Anne Smith and Russell Cockeram (Abby and Brad, Emma, Stanley, Harry and Amanda) and the late George Smith, Trish and Frank Anderson (Michael, Grace, Anna), Bridget Ryan and John Paten (Daniel), Rosemary Ryan. Great Grandmother of Nevaeh Ryan, Hannah, Lucy and Jack Dawson, and Nora Davison.
Our heartfelt thanks go to Bupa Ascot Resthome. The compassion and care Mum received was greatly appreciated, as was the love and attention they have given her in her final week.
At Maggie’s request a private service has been held. Due to travel restrictions, a memorial service will be held at a later date.

SUTTON, Peter Douglas:
It is with deep sadness that we inform family and friends that Peter passed away suddenly at Vickery Court on Saturday 3 April 2021, aged 57 years.
Much loved son of Eunice and Keith.
Loved brother and brother in law of Kenneth, Rosemary & Geoffrey Checketts and the late Helen.
Loved uncle of Jonathan, Rachel, Robbie, Lachlan and Caitlin
Family wish to sincerely thank the staff of Vickery Court for their loving care of Peter and special thanks to our friend Sue Lawson for her support over many years.
A service will be held on Friday 9th April 2021, 1pm at First Presbyterian Church, Tay Street Invercargill.
Interment at Eastern Cemetery will follow.
