15.03.1927 – 27.07.2020
A true son and gentleman of the Wakatipu. The family would like to advise that Jack has gone to greener pastures. Much loved husband and friend of Joan for 65 years. Treasured Dad of Karen and Sam Robins (Te Anau), Suzy and Bruce Walker, Craig and Deborah (Lower Shotover). Much loved Grandad and Great-Grandad to 14 grandchildren. Special friend to Flossy the cat. A service to celebrate Jack’s life will be held in Lake Hayes Pavilion, at 2.00pm on Saturday, August 1. Donations can be made to Wakatipu St John Ambulance and may be left at the service. AUSTIN, Anthony James (Tony):
On Saturday, July 25, 2020, sadly passed away unexpectedly in Roxburgh. Dearly loved husband and friend of Denise. Dearly loved father and father-in-law of Melissa, Penny and Mark, Simon and Julia, Grandfather of Shaun*, Matthew, Tegan, and Flynn and faithful companion of Katie. “Gone from our Sight but never from our Hearts”
Tony is resting at home until a service to celebrate his life will be held in the Te Anau Club, on Thursday, July 30, at 1.30pm, followed by a private cremation. CLARKE, Graham:
Passed away suddenly but peacefully at home on Friday, July 17, 2020. Dearly loved husband of Wayne, beloved father of Michael, Gregory, Jonathon and Richard, father-in-law to Sarah, and grandad of Lucy, Oliver, George and Billyrose. A private family farewell was held at a place that he loved.

JACKMAN, George Willsher (Will):
2/4/1940 – 27/7/2020 of Winton.
Willsher was farewelled on his last fishing trip at a graveside service by his loving family, Cushla of Winton Justine, Pat and Sophie of Dunedin, Tammy and Brett (Finn) of Dunedin, Renee and Josh of Invercargill. At Willsher’s request all his friends and family are to come and share both short and tall tales at the Winton Bridge Club from 3.30pm to 6.00pm on Saturday 1 August 2020.

HARDY, Patricia Margaret:
Of Invercargill, and previously of Wellington.  Died peacefully at Southland Hospital on Saturday 18 April 2020 after a short illness.  Eldest daughter of *Tom and *Margaret Hardy.  Beloved sister of Maire and *Jack Pasco, *Bernard, Molly and *Des O’Neill, and also by her nieces and nephews: Brenda Pasco-Sullivan, Mark, *Leon and Julie Pasco; Lynley Irvine, Stephanie Madden – and their families.  Deeply treasured friend to many all around the world.  After a long and wonderful life – 90 years young. R.I.P. Requiem Mass for Pat will be celebrated in St Therese of Lisieux Catholic Church, Perth Street, Invercargill, at 11 am, on Saturday August 1, 2020.

MATHESON, Rev Alan Charles:
On 22 July 2020 at Vickery Court, and 4 weeks after the very sad loss of Annette, Alan peacefully passed away aged 83 years. Loved father of David, Ewen and Suzanne, and Fiona, and granddad to Jack, Regan and Corey. A service for Alan will be held in J Fraser and Sons’ Chapel, cnr Esk and Doon Streets, at 2pm on Friday, 31 July. The family would like to thank Dr E Adam and colleagues, and the staff at Vickery Court for their care and support of Alan.
