On June 26, 2021, peacefully at Bangalor Retreat, Tweed Heads, NSW, Australia, in her 99th year. Dearly loved wife of the late Henry Roberts (Bob) Cowie, (late of Otapiri and Queenstown), and loved mother and mother-in-law of Helen and Michael Miskin (Cromwell), Graham and Christine Cowie (Robina, QLD), Peter and Phyllis Cowie (Birtinya, QLD). Loved Grandma of her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Loved sister and sister-in-law of the late Mary Doreen Martin (Doreen Smith) and the late John Calder (Chum) and Valmai Mincher (Invercargill). An online memorial service is being arranged. FOX Neil Sutcliffe – JP (rtd):
Formerly of Waimahaka. After a short illness Neil passed away peacefully at Vickery Court on Saturday 26th June 2021, aged 87 years. Dearly loved husband of the late Rita. Much loved father and father in law of Marlene and Neville Parkinson, Lyndon and Ti (Christchurch). Loved Grandad of Cameron, Joel and Tiffany. Special friend of Auguste Muijs. Loved brother in law of Nancy Somerville. Loved Uncle of all nieces and nephews. Family wish to sincerely thank the staff of Hospice Southland and Vickery Court for their devoted care of Neil. Peacefully on Monday, June 28, 2021; aged 95 years. Dearly loved and dedicated wife of the late Charlie. Loved and respected Aunty and Great-Aunty of all her nieces and nephews. A special thanks to the Ascot Bupa Care Home for their wonderful care and love shown to Betty. A service will be held at 1.30pm in the Winton Presbyterian Church, on Friday, July 2, followed by an interment at the East Winton Cemetery. After a short illness John passed away peacefully at Calvary Hospital on Saturday 26th June 2021, aged 86 years. Dearly loved husband of the late Lorraine. Loved father and father in law of Jock and Dina, and Glenys Ville. Loved Grandad of all his grandchildren. Loved brother and brother in law of Jock and the late Peggy Walker, and Graeme and Christine Beilby. Loved uncle of all his nieces and nephews.
