Passed away peacefully at Clare House, Invercargill, on Saturday 12 October 2019, two days short of her 91^st birthday. Beloved wife of the late Robert (Roy), cherished and loving mother and mother-in-law of Russell and Valerie (Myross Bush), Maree and Owen Butcher (Winton), Sandra and Barry Ridder (Cromwell), Sharon Buchanan and Dave Penny, a much loved and adored Nana of all her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Loved sister and sister-in-law of Bill and Jennifer Beattie, and a much loved auntie of all her nieces and nephews. A service to celebrate Valmai’s life will be held in the Avenal Park Chapel, 75 Fox Street, Invercargill, on Thursday 17 October at 2.00pm, private cremation to follow.
