ASHBROOK, Raymond Leslie (Ray). Peacefully on Wednesday 5 December 2018 surrounded by his loving whanau; aged 71 years. Dearly loved husband and soulmate of Lorine, much loved father of Mark*, Ture*, Sydney, Willie*, Awhina, and Raeann, a much loved papa of all of his grandchildren, loved brother of Jim, and Violet. Ray will be resting in Fairfax with whanau. A farewell for Ray will be held at Fairfax on Saturday 8 December at 10.00am, interment to follow at the Riverton Cemetery. BULLMORE, Edward Douglas (Doug). Peacefully after a long battle on Friday, November 30, 2018; aged 73. Dearly loved husband of Margaret. Much loved father and grandad of Richard, Kirsty, Timothy, and Amelia Bullmore (Balfour), Catherine, Brad, Sophia, and Madeleine McCartney (Geneva), David, Melissa, Carrie, Haylee, and Charlotte Bullmore (Balfour). A funeral service to celebrate the life of Doug will take place on Friday, December 7, at 1.30pm, in the Balfour Hall, followed by a private cremation. The family thank the staff at Clare House and Southland Hospital for the special care of Doug. Donations to St John can be made at the service. FORREST, Coral Hyacinth (nee Stuart). Peacefully at Southland Hospital on Saturday, December 1, 2018, in her 90th year, surrounded by her loving family. Formerly of ‘Kenmare’ Brydone and ‘Glen Oaks’ Waianiwa. Devoted and dearly loved wife of Ken* Forrest. Cherished mother and mother-in-law of Winston Forrest and Michele Poole (Arrowtown), Cynthia Forrest (Wellington), Helen* and David Rose (Northope), Grant Forrest (Waianiwa), and Fiona Forrest (Lochiel). Treasured Nana Coral of Hamish, Mark, Christine, Andrew and Jennifer. Precious Great-Nana Coral to Leon. Adored aunty of all her nieces and nephews. Eldest daughter of Jim and Jessie Stuart (Brydone). Cherished sister and sister-in-law of George* and Alison Stuart, Heather* and Graeme McKenzie, Ken and Mavis Stuart, Veron and Lex* Bagrie. A special thank you to Dr Chatterjee and the Medical teams at Southland Hospital in caring for Coral. A service to celebrate Coral’s life will be held at St Paul’s Presbyterian Church, Dee Street, Invercargill, on Friday, December 7, at 1.30pm. Interment at Eastern Cemetery to follow.
