Formerly of Glenham and Forest Hill. Peacefully passed away at Rowena Jackson Retirement Village on Tuesday, September 17, 2019, aged 74. Eldest son of the late Bill and Eileen Brown. Dearly loved father and father-in-law of Anna Trushin, Amanda and Israel Waldrom (Dunedin). Proud grandfather of Cecilia, Jude and Aya. Loved brother and brother-in-law of Ann and Stuart Munro, the late Ronald, David and Mary Brown, and Morris Brown. A service for Jim will be held in J Fraser and Sons Chapel, cnr Esk and Doon Streets, Invercargill, on Monday, September 23 at 1.30pm, followed by interment at the Eastern Cemetery. McDOWALL, Alan Roger.
Passed away suddenly on Tuesday, September 17, 2019, aged 46 years. Dearly loved son of Val and Ian. Loved brother and brother-in-law of twin Diane and Scott Sutton, Trevor (Ox) and Jacqui, Neil and Carmel, and Allison and Glen Collie. Beloved uncle and great-uncle of all his nieces and nephews. A service to celebrate Alan’s life will be held in the Avenal Park Chapel, on Monday, September 23, at 10.00am, the service will conclude with the burial at the Eastern Cemetery. (of Cromwell) Passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 18, 2019, aged 94. Loved wife of the late James Irvine Sanders, and loved mother of Yvonne, Irene, Carol, Rosalie, Jean, Judy, Beverly, Douglas, Neville, Sharon, Noels, and James. Mother-in-law, Grandma, Great-Grandma and Great-Great-Grandma. A celebration of Margaret’s life will be held at Cromwell and Districts Presbyterian Church, 10 Elspeth Street, Cromwell, on Saturday, September 21, at 1.00pm, followed by a private cremation.
