Peacefully on Wednesday 16 June 2021 with family by her side at Rowena Jackson Retirement Village, in her 90th year. Dearly loved wife of the late Mervyn. Loved and cherished mother and mother-in-law of Russell and Donna (Blenheim), Barbara,* Linda and John* Stalker (Castlerock). Devoted nana of Amanda (Napier), Mark and Maxine Stalker (Lumsden), Michelle and Geoff McElrea (Wanaka), Brad and Sarah Stalker (Duntroon), Jackie and Bevan Jones (Hedgehope). Special and adored nana Vora of her great grandchildren; Jack, Charlotte, Ted, Hadley, Lochy, Fred, Sid, Matilda, Charlie, Max, and Isla. EDGAR, Sir Eion Sinclair:
Peacefully on Monday, June 14, 2021. Eion passed away at home in Queenstown with his family by his side. Dearly loved and adored husband of Jan, father of Jonty, Hamish and Adam, father-in-law of Amber, Victoria and Anna, grandfather of Sammi, Harry, Tommo, Clementine, George, Beatrix, Franca and Olympia, brother of Noela and son of the late George and Caroline Edgar. An inspirational and generous man who is respected by many and will be missed by all. Eion leaves a huge legacy. A celebration of Eion’s life will be held at the Queenstown Events Centre, Frankton, Queenstown on Saturday, June 26, 2021, at 2.30pm. Sadly after a brief illness on Tuesday, June 15, 2021, at Southland Hospital. Beloved husband of the late Meryle, and cherished father and father-in-law of Charmaine and David Alexander (Bluff), Maureen (Gore), June and the late Russell (Sydney), and Tyrone Hyslop (Mataura). A loved grandad and great-grandad of all his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A loved brother, brother-in-law and uncle. In accordance with Les’ wishes a private cremation has been held. A memorial service for Les will be held in the Gore RSA Function Lounge, Bowler Avenue, at 1.30pm, on Friday, June 18. Donations may be left at the service for the Blind Foundation. WATT, Judith Dorris (Judy):
Aged 78, of Invercargill, formerly of The Blue Moon Dairy. Passed peacefully on Saturday 12 June 2021. Dearly loved mother of Karyn, and Ian (Australia); and Grandmother of Ben, and Christopher (both Australia). According to Judith’s wishes a private service and cremation has taken place.
