Peacefully at Southland Hospital on Tuesday, September 29 2020, aged 72 years. Dearly loved husband and soulmate of Carolyn (Carly). Loving Dad of Melanie, Gareth, Kelly and Jeremy. Awesome Grandad of Ashleigh, Blake, Aiden, Annika, and Catalina. Loved brother of Judith and Peter. CLEGHORN, Russell Edward:
Passed away peacefully surround by family on October 1, 2020, in his 79th year. As per Russell’s wishes a private cremation has been held. Messages to 142 West Street, Invercargill.

CLENT, John Edward Rouse (John Boy):
On October 1, 2020 at home with his dearly loved wife Leonie, father of Darren (deceased), and Nina, grandfather of Matt and special friend of Sue, brother and brother-in-law of Margaret and Neil Carlaw, Graeme and Christine, Gwenda and Neville Lapthorne, the late Gordon and the late Maureen Bowden, Kevin and Ainslie Bowden, and Patricia and Maurice Robinson, loved uncle and great-uncle to all his nieces and nephews. A special friend to many. A heartfelt thank you to the Nurse Maude Palliative Care team for their care of John and to Russley Village for all their support. Passed away peacefully at Wyndham Rest Home, on Friday, October 2, 2020, formerly of Gore. Best friend of Stanley Clark, wife of the late Arthur Johnstone, loved mother and mother-in-law of Russell and Jo, Lynda and Ian Milne, Annie and the late Jimmy Blondell, Gary and Angela, and cherished Nana, great-Nana and great-great-Nana. A service for Beth will be held in Southern Funeral Home Chapel, 106 Hokonui Drive, Gore, on Tuesday, October 6, at 2.00pm. Interment at Charlton Park Cemetery followed by refreshments at Hokonui Bowling Club, Lyne Street, Gore. Peacefully passed away on Friday 2nd October 2020 with his family.

Loved father and father in law of Peter and Sandra*, Andrew*, Helen, Donald and Nicole, Kathryn and Mark, Brent and Susan, and Elizabeth and Greg.
Adored Grandad of Amy, James, Vaughan, Lewis, Tom, Eddie, Oscar, Murdo, Mirrin, Gracie and Rowan.
Adored Great Grandad of Lucy and Joey.
Loved son of the late Geordie and Amie.
Loved brother and brother in law of Jacqui* and Neil*, Mary* and Lex, Judy and Ross*, Dick and Jenny, Brian and Patricia, Lesley and John, Doreen and Winston, Raylene and Ronnie*, and Robyn and Grant.
Loved Uncle of all his nieces and nephews.
In accordance with Val’s wishes a family gathering will be held.
There will be a wider celebration when other family can travel from overseas.

Catherine, Dawn and David, Ken and Paula, Ross and Robyna, and families, wish to express their heartfelt thanks following Bert’s passing. Thank you everyone for the cards and letters with awesome messages, food, baking, flowers, and visits, which have been comforting and much appreciated. All your thoughts and love at this extremely difficult time, have been a huge comfort to our family. Many thanks to all those who attended the Memorial Service, your presence truly reflected the love and respect Bert was held in, he will always be a very special man, and forever missed. Thank you to those who were able to attend Don’s funeral either with us or via the live-stream. To those we have been unable to include because of Covid restrictions, we thank you for your kind thoughts and understanding. Thank you to the Invercargill Fire Brigade, both present and past members, for giving Don such a grand send off and an extra special thank you to the Gold Watch team who helped while Don was in Rowena Jackson. Thank you also to the Staff at Rowena Jackson, especially those in O’Byrne Wing who tended Don in his last days, his and our journey was made easier with your support. A special thank you to Darrin from Fraser & Sons, and Lynley McKerrow for helping put together a lovely send off for Don. To those who shared stories of Don’s life and for Roy Clearwater for piping Don to his last journey on a fire engine, your part in the service was very special and appreciated by us all. Russell, Cliff and families and extended family wish to thank all those who attended Bella’s funeral, and everyone who sent cards, baking and messages of support after the loss of a dearly loved Mum, Nana Grand-nana and Aunt. She was also a friend of many. Thanks also to Ross at Avenal Funeral Home for his guidance, and Celebrant Lynley McKerrow and organist Jennifer Sinclair for a fitting farewell to Mum.
