Carole and Susan and their families wish to thank every one who supported us during Joan’s brief illness and during our sad days since her peaceful passing. A huge thank you to the staff at Bupa Retirement Village, and her neighbours there, for your time and friendship always, but especially when Mum couldn’t get out and about. COSGROVE, Paul Trevor (Cosie):
Cosie was one of life’s characters, a â€˜people person’ who touched the lives of many. In turn his family has been deeply touched by so many wonderful, caring people. We are eternally grateful and humbled by the concern, love and support given to us right through Cosie’s illness and eventual passing and this continues on today. Family, friends, work colleagues and acquaintances please know your kindness and generosity shown through visits, meals, catering, cards, flowers, texts and phone calls has helped soften the edges of our sorrow and make this passage through grief a little easier. Thank you too for donations to the Southland Charity Hospital. Feeling so blessed to be part of the special Wanaka and Southland communities. The loss of Cosie is felt everyday but we are learning to start anew as he would have wanted us to. Marj, Andrea and Cody, Paula and Chris and extended Cosgrove family.

Kathleen, Stefan and family, and our Croatian family would like to thank Calvary Hospital for the many years of respite care Steve enjoyed with you. The medical ward at Kew Hospital who assisted the day he passed away. To the people who sent beautiful flowers, cards, brought food and baking to our home, we were very humbled. KUBRYCHT, David:
The Kubrycht family would like to thank many teams in the SDHB for the excellent care and compassion shown to David over the past four years: the doctors and staff of the Oncology and Radiology departments from Dunedin and Southland hospitals; district nurses – Claire and Zara; main daily carers – Angela, Judy, Delwin and Lynn, and all other SDHB staff who interacted with us. Thank you Hospice Southland, who were only a phone-call away, 24/7. Their respite care, stellar support and home visits kept our spirits ticking along. Gladstone Pharmacy, our go-to people, was much appreciated for their helpful advice and timely deliveries. We would like to acknowledge the Waihopi Medical Centre and St John Ambulance Centre. Sincere thanks to the Cancer Society who were our first port of call when we moved from Kingston. All of these people, in some way, allowed David to stay at home as long as possible. A special mention to the staff of the Salisbury Wing at Rowena Jackson care home who looked after David kindly in his last weeks, to our many friends who were there in our time of need and to our good neighbour Tony. Heartfelt appreciation to you all.

MOLLOY, Gwenda Joy:
