Passed away peacefully at Glenwood Home on Sunday, February 16, 2020, aged 75 years. An adored wife of Norman for 54 years. A much loved mother and mother-in-law of Odelle and Gary Hawkins (Kurow), Megan and Richard Ayres (Mooloolaba Australia), and a devoted nana to her grandchildren. A cherished daughter of the late William and Annie Nicol (Winton), and loved sister and sister-in-law of Mary and David Neill (dec), and Jessie and Noel Hubber (dec). Special thanks to Lorna and the wonderful Staff at Glenwood for their wonderful supportive care of Barbara. A private cremation has been held as this was Barbara’s wish.

Born 13 May 1999. Suddenly passed on Sunday 16 February 2020; in his 21st year. Dearly loved son of Jeff and Sue, much loved brother of Holly, Katie, Hannah and Brad, much loved partner of Finlay. Jayden was a great mate to his many friends and a valued member of the Tiger Softball Club, he was also loved by his uncles, aunty’s and cousins. A service will be held for Jayden in the Invercargill Christian Centre, 165 Leet Street on Monday 24 February at 10.00am, interment will follow at the Otautau Cemetery. Peacefully, on Monday, February 17, 2020, cared for and surrounded by her loving family in the wonderful care of Marne Street Hospital in Dunedin. Alison, Dianne, Austin, and Robyn wish to sincerely thank everyone who attended Harold’s memorial service in Geraldine, especially those who travelled considerable distances. Special thanks to the Rev Tony Kippax and Ro Acland who officiated the service and gave us wonderful support. The help of the Geraldine AAW ladies in serving afternoon tea was also greatly appreciated. Many thanks to everyone who brought food, flowers and sent cards and letters. A big thank you to Harold’s many caregivers and the staff at McKenzie Health Care who took excellent care of Harold during his last few weeks. Marg, Jeannene, Karen, Blair, and their families would like to sincerely thank everyone for their love and support shown to us in the loss of a very dear husband, father, and grandad. To all the Doctors and Nursing Staff at Clutha Health First, Dr Ruth Alberts and the team at Lawrence Medical Centre, Dunedin Hematology team; Dr Chiruka, Dr Fagan, and Rosie and Heather from Otago Hospice, you all tried so hard for Ian, and your care was exceptional, we are forever grateful. A special thanks to Alex McLaughlin for your numerous visits which we all enjoyed and for your warm and personal service. To all that attended Ian’s farewell, especially those that travelled so far to support us all – thank you. A big thanks to everyone who spoke at the service, Ian would have been proud of you all.
