Peacefully at Summerset at Bishopscourt, on Saturday, October 1, 2022. Much loved husband of the late Cilla, dearly loved father and father-in-law of Gail and Ian Arthur, and the late Judy, adored Pops of Aimee, and Sophie. A service to celebrate Ray’s life will be held in Hope and Sons Chapel, 523 Andersons Bay Road, Dunedin, at 11.00am on Thursday, October 6, the funeral then leaving for Green Park Cemetery. Unexpectedly, on September 30, 2022, aged 47 years. Loved and adored husband of Deidre. Loving and proud father of Trent and Renee, and will be especially missed by Neko. Loved son of Graham (Toowoomba), and Trish (Reefton). Loved brother of Jenny. Much loved by all his nieces and nephews. Best friend of Josh and Johnny. Rodney was a loved son-in-law of Brian and Jenny Anderson, a brother-in-law to all his extended family, and a mate to many. Suddenly at Dunedin Hospital on October 1, 2022, after a short illness. Dearly loved wife of John. Much loved mother, mother-in-law and best friend of Jesse and Amanda, Krystle and Greg. Loved nana of Maia, Emily, Abby, Peyton and Dakota. A much loved sister, sister-in-law and aunty to all her extended family. Many thanks to the staff at Invercargill Hospital, Balclutha and Dunedin Hospitals, together with Otago Rescue Helicopter for the care of Carol.
