Passed away peacefully at Albany House Rest Home, Gore, on Wednesday, September 18, 2019, aged 99 years. Dearly loved wife of the late Alec, loved mother and mother-in-law of Lynn and *Bruce Callaghan (Picton), *Diane Maxwell (Te Anau), Chris and Marg (Picton), Judith and Gary Shields (Dunedin), Robert and Annette (Dunedin), and a loved Nan to all her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. A memorial service to celebrate Dorothy’s life will be held in St Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, Ardwick Street, Gore, on Tuesday, September 24, at 1.30pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Gore Art Gallery. Sincere thanks to all the staff at Albany House for their wonderful care and support. Passed away suddenly on Tuesday, September 17th, 2019, aged 46 years. Dearly loved son of Val and Ian. Loved brother and brother-in-law of twin Diane and Scott Sutton, Trevor (Ox) and Jacqui, Neil and Carmel, and Allison and Glen Collie. Beloved uncle and great uncle of all his nieces and nephews. A service to celebrate Alan’s life will held in the Avenal Park Chapel on Monday, September 23 at 10:00am the service will conclude with the burial at the Eastern Cemetery. Adored daughter of the late Jean and Errol Woodward. Dearly loved and cherished wife of the late Russell John Ross for 54 years. Loved mother and mother-in-law to Barb and Kenny (Australia), the late Errol, Janette and Brent (Cromwell), Diane and Joe (Christchurch), and Susan (Whanganui). Loved and caring nana to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A cherished sister to Erroleen and Terry Murdoch, Jean and Wallace McDonald (Cromwell), Betty and the late Alister Beck and the late Dorothy Mason, and the late Ronnie Beck.
