PHOTOGRAPH | Directed by Ritesh Batra New Zealand 2019 | 1 hour 50 minutes | English | PG
This coming-of-age romantic drama is the latest from the director of LUNCHBOX. It follows Rafi, a struggling street photographer in Mumbai who, as a result of pressure to marry by his grandmother, convinces Miloni, a shy stranger to pose as his fiancée. Despite the difference in their culture, status and economic background, the two form a unique bond. The film is a love letter to Mumbai, bringing the city out as a character sheltering the two protagonists and their extraordinary journey.
