China expert Jerry Clode will present a dedicated session of how Southland businesses can engage with Chinese customers. Having grown up in Southland, Jerry has became one of the first and only foreigners to work as a consumer -interviewer in China, working with Disney, Budweiser and Unilever to create their brand footholds in the 1990s.

Each year, Jerry visits the home of hundreds of Chinese consumers and families searching for break-through insight. Most recently, Jerry has been invited by New Zealand Trade and Enterprise to help New Zealand brands to localise their strategies for China.

In the session, Jerry will explain his experiences in China, suggesting how Southland businesses can best take up the challenge.

Jerry will also help you draft a China Plan, so can apply new earnings, right there and then.

A rare opportunity to gain an insider’s view on China, nice thing is he happens to be a Southlander!
